Neighbors Irked by Penis in the Window of 52 Kenmare [NSFW]

The Rivington Design House – no longer on its namesake street – is making waves. Their new headquarters at 52 Kenmare Street currently boasts a poster of a naked man in the window. Flaccid penis and all.

The public nudity display is actually part of Bek Andersen’s gallery installation at the Rivington Design House called “Clothed Female/Naked Male.” It’s exactly as it sounds; opening was last Thursday.

Some neighbors, as you might guess, are fairly irate over the X-rated window garnishment. We received the following communique in the mailbag:

There is a large photo of a naked man in the window of [52] Kenmare Street. I guess the new people in the neighborhood are unaware of how many children live here.
