Bucking the trend on lower Orchard Street, number 58 will not become another cog gallery in the mix. Instead it’ll play host to a new specialty gift shop for “the body, mind, and soul.”

The newcomer is a holistic lounge called Flow Life, one that, were are told, will sell all sorts accessories for healing and relaxation. Think candles, soaps, scents, etc. Storefront signage was run up the horizontal flagpole last week. Opening is expected in the coming weeks.

58 Orchard was last home the Little Shoe Store, which moved to the block in 2012 from the East Village. Their tenure at this address was lengthy by Lower East Side standards – two years. The business has since relocated north to 40 Clinton Street.
