Busted Water Main Forces Taquitoria on Ludlow Street to Close

The year-old Taquitoria at 168 Ludlow Street is out of commission until further notice. Blame the recent spat of tundra temperatures. Apparently a pipe burst in the building last week, causing flooding in the tiny late-night eatery. The handwritten sign in the window serves as announcement.
A Facebook post reveals that Taquitoria will remain shuttered until the “burst pipes are repaired.” They promise a return to form once that happens, but this closure will certainly hurt the bottom line…
Taquitoria is seemingly popular in the neighborhood, so this loss, albeit temporary, might not sit well with some. Ownership had just scored beer and wine privileges for their establishment a few months ago based on a history of alleged good will.
