Clayton’s Corner: Siki Im Collaboration on Broome Street

Neighborhood documentarian Clayton Patterson lent his popular stitch imagery to designer Siki Im for the Fall 2015 line. A collaboration he calls “art activism fashioin.” The local photographer teamed up for the runway exhibition at Whitebox on Broome Street last week.

Patterson’s flare adds plenty of popping color to Im’s all-black silk fare.
Fun fact – Patterson lived at 329 Broome Street when he first moved to the city in 1979, and stayed there until 1981.
