50 Clinton Luxury Development Debuts ‘Sales Gallery’ and Teaser Signage

News regarding 50 Clinton Street is now a torrent. The one-story row of retail will imminently fall brick by brick to allow seven stories of luxury to muscle onto the scene. The insult added to that injury is the new teaser banner that advertises residences starting at a slender $975K. What a steal!

And now that we know cost and composition of the apartments, an office is needed to sell the properties to the 1% folk. As previously reported, chosen address for this function is Clinton, formerly home to 20 Peacocks. The new deal-making grounds apparently doubles as some sort of gallery space with art on the walls.

There are a total of thirty-seven apartments (designed by Paris Forino) with amenities that include 24hr doorman, gym, “lush gardens,” and rooftops terraces. One-bedrooms start at $975K, two-bedrooms at $1.75M, and penthouses in glass at $3M.

DHA Capital – which acquired the property for a record $28.95 million – is targeting “first-time buyers and young professionals” to populate the new development.

Time to wave goodbye to the mixed socio-economic bag of upper Clinton Street.
