DayLife is once again kicking off the summer season with its annual outdoor LES celebration. This year’s event, sponsored by ConEd and G-Shock, is being called “Lower EAT Side.” We see what you did there.

It may be a far cry from the Orchard Street pushcarts of yesteryear, but the Lower East Side BID and its semi-regular street fair will try yet again to solve the perpetual woes of this former bargain district. As before, the DayLife event will be a day of festivities, yet will focus more on the food angle this time around. In addition to all of the neighborhood EATs being showcased, the celebration will include musical talent, fashion and fun vendors, a holistic wellness lounge, and the promise of both hula hooping and giant Jenga.

If it strikes your fancy, mark those calendars for June 14, from noon til 5pm. It’s taking place at Orchard Street, between Delancey and East Houston. Check out the full lineup here.
