The NYPD 7th Precinct holds monthly “community council” meetings to update the neighborhood on the latest crime figures and allow residents to see what’s being done behind the scenes. In a move to spur attendance and attract more citizens, the police precinct will install a gun training simulator at the next gathering on May 20 at the Educational Alliance. The equipment will be employed to demonstrate the tools cops utilize for weapons training.
Those in attendance can take the “firearms tactics simulator” for a test spin, so to speak.
Community council meetings are held on the second Wednesday of every month unless noted otherwise.
