Scoping Out Centre-fuge Cycle 17 on East 1st Street

Here’s a quick update on Cycle 17 of the Centre-fuge Public Art Project.
Participants spent the weekend imparting art onto the mid-block trailer on East First Street. Three-quarters of its exterior is now painted and on display. However, organizers Pebbles Russell and Jonathan Neville are running slightly behind schedule, with a handful of panels still awaiting attention. Work should wrap later this week.
As previously reported, artists represented in Cycle 17 are Erik Martinez, Hiss, King Bee, Kristy McCarthy, Ramiro Davaro-Comas, Shaun Edwards and Vballentine. Artwork from this latest class of creatives will remain in place until August 13.
