Fresh off announcing an expansion to the Los Angeles market (i.e. Venice), the Butcher’s Daughter has another ace up its sleeve. The organic eatery at the corner of Elizabeth now has sights set on the upscale West Village market. Fitting.
According to the SLA docket for Community Board 2, the Butcher’s Daughter is applying for a full liquor license at 581 Hudson Street. Ownership will appear before the man on August 13 to fight for its third location.
Apotheke’s Heather Tierney opened the Butcher’s Daughter at 19 Kenmare Street back in November 2o12, christening it a “vegetable slaughterhouse.” It annexed the adjacent store on Elizabeth less than a year later, using the footprint as both a quick-serve “market” for organic products and a takeaway juice bar.
