When Essex had umlauts, August 2012
Last week, Jersey City resident Alfredo Ramos was found on the subway platform of the Delancey/Essex station with brutal head injuries. The 51-year-old man was beaten and left for dead at about 10pm on August 28. He later passed at Bellevue Hospital.
Cops just arrested the perp responsible for the incident, according to a dispatch in the Daily News. David Green, a 57-year-old street vendor who peddles incense on Delancey, allegedly attacked the victim after the two got into a dispute. The substance of the argument is not known.
He is being charged with manslaughter, and awaiting arraignment.
