As a part of the fall lineup, the  Hester Street Fair  is bringing “Hesterfest to the Lower East Side. It’s the first of four such events this month, and is touted as a day filled with live musical performances, from nine different talented singer/songwriters, punk bands, hip hop acts. There will also be food vendors from around the city (Poke Ono, Red Star Sandwich Shop, Kao Kua, Eggettes NY). And yes, beer and wine will be available. It’s unclear the specific reason for the celebration, but one should never look a gift festival in the mouth.

Here are the details for this weekend:
Date: Saturday, October 10th, 2015
Time: Gates open at 11AM
Location: Hester Street (at Essex Street)
Lineup:

The near future is fruitful for the Hester Street Fair. Organizers promise a Grub Street Food Fest (10/18), Fashion Fest (10/24) and Halloween Family Day (10/31).
