Pinche Taqueria Quits Noho Location After 3-Year Stint

The last Pinche Taqueria – which, at its height boasted three taco stands – is through for the night. Curtains. Its final day of service at 333 Lafayette Street – the largest locale – was a couple weeks ago, thanks to a purported rent hike. Meanwhile, brokers from Winick didn’t waste any time affixing the requisite leasing banners in the windows.
Since 2012, Pinche operated a tiny taco stand on the Quirky median peninsula where Bleecker, Lafayette, and Mulberry Streets Come to a point. Its Narrow dining room became a fairly popular downtown destination for Mexican food.
According to Eater, Pinche Taqueria, was a spinoff of a 40-plus-year-old restaurant in Tijuana.
