It’s not even Thanksgiving yet, but holiday cheer is already on the streets.
The holiday lights returned to Orchard Street on Monday for another go-round of season’s greetings. As in years past, the decorative snowflake orbs are now suspended above the roadway between East Houston and Hester. The designated area under the jurisdiction of the Lower East Side Business Improvement District (which finances the installation each year).
There is also a fixture hanging in the northern intersection of Delancey and Ludlow.
