The two-year-old Ehvonnae boutique on Orchard Street is seemingly doing everything it takes to survive. Including a month on the sidelines while a rich, Los Angeles-based headphone company rents its space for a pop-up shop.

FRENDS took over 160 Orchard Street earlier this month to hawk its line of fashionista-chic headphones. According to its recent Twitter-based press release, the shop features new and limited edition collections by brands such as Zadig & Voltaire, Swarovski, Dolce & Gabbana, and Instagram personality DJ May Kwok.

The FRENDS pop-up shop is headquartered at 160 Orchard Street until December 27. Ehvonnae is expected to return thereafter.
