Nascent high-end home furnishing company SIRE Home is now without one. The company ceased to exist on Orchard Street in the beginning of December. Storefront is dark, and the token tombstone signage hangs above the entrance.

The showroom last opened last June, with this location chosen “because it is one of the few remaining inherently cool and hip areas remaining in Manhattan.” Six months later, the storefront is as you see it. Waiting for the next in line.

Any Old Iron previously held down a store at 149 Orchard Street for some four years before its departure in June 2014. The fashion boutique relocated to Nashville.
