When an epic blizzard wallops Manhattan, and travel warnings/bans flourish, one man is there to defy. Leave it to snowboarder-producer Casey Neistat to head into the storm seeking epic powder.
Towed by a Jeep like last time, Neistat slid around many parts of the city, eliciting cheers and photos. He even carried an American flag through Times Square. Freedom.
The Connecticut native didn’t spend too much time on the Lower East Side, though, except mingling with fans on East Ninth Street and Avenue A. The stunt caught up with him eventually, when cops pulled the crew over. The officer didn’t much care about the snowboarding, so the driver noted, “you guys are awesome.”
Here’s the two-minute video, soundtracked with a remix of Sinatra’s “New York, New York.”
