The ‘New Bowery’ Championed in ‘Batman v. Superman’ Turkish Airlines Commercial [VIDEO]

Turkish Airlines is high on the Bowery.
At least according to the post-Super Bowl commercial that you probably missed. Under the comic book guise of the forthcoming Batman v. Superman movie, the merits of New York City are pimped for Turkish Airlines. And even in the fictional Gotham/Metropolis, the Bowery is nightlife gold.
Indeed, the integrated commercial spot acts as a propaganda video with Ben Affleck as Bruce Wayne bragging about how Gotham is being “restored to its former glory.” The narrator, on behalf of Turkish Airlines, then pimps the “nightlife of the new Bowery” as one of the defining features of the revitalized city. It’s finally arrived.
