Jim Gaffigan wears a Bowery Boogie shirt

For the third time this month (by our count), The Jim Gaffigan Show is again shooting scenes on the Lower East Side. Today’s shoot is located along Essex Street, north of Delancey.

Season 2 of The Jim Gaffigan Show – the comedy series focuses on a fictionalized version of the popular comedian – bows June 22 on TV Land. Also, keep a lookout this season; if you watch closely, you might see the Boogie tshirt make another guest appearance. (Buy yours here.)

The Jim Gaffigan Show leans pretty heavily on the Lower East Side, as the family calls this neighborhood home. The on-screen homages are legit. In real life, the Gaffigans live in a two-bedroom, fifth-floor walkup on the Bowery where they are raising five children.
