More violence on the Lower East Side last night, this time at the corner of Delancey and Clinton Streets. The concentric pools of blood you may have seen outside the former Kapowski’s at 168 Delancey and the taped-off crime scene tape is evidence enough.
Here’s what happened.
Apparently there was a fight late last night inside The Delancey nightclub. Fisticuffs reportedly spilled onto the sidewalk and one male was stabbed in the ear, neck, and head. The 7th Precinct confirms that the victim was taken to the hospital and an arrest made onsite.
We’ll update as more info comes to light.
Meanwhile, the incident is the second blemish for owner Alex Drozd in as many weeks. Drozd is also a co-principal in The DL just up the block, which itself was host to a brawl that saw its security guard battle with patrons.
