Those Sweltering Chinatown Nights [PHOTOS]

If there’s one place to be in Chinatown on a hot summer night, it’s apparently the Pace High School field at the bottom of Sara D. Roosevelt Park. Playing outside through the twilight hours.
Acting as a living room of sorts for locals, the pitch is a social scene with activities galore. Night and day. Everything from dancing lessons for the older women and children running free, to old men standing around smoking cigarettes. These photos were shot last night at around 8:30pm.
To be honest, though, this particular field is always busy, no matter the season. It’s also common to see dragon dancing practices here, or the occasional collegiate Quidditch match.
