After nearly a year of vacancy, 350 Bowery is apparently paying the bills as a haven for pop-ups. First with garage rock revival and now Paul Bunyan plaid.

Four months ago, The Strokes hosted a week-long merch shop at 352 Bowery as promotion for its GovBall performance and newest album, Future Present Past. Now, though, with festival season over, fall fashions are the name of the game here. As of Friday afternoon, the south store is in the hands of plaid purveyors JCRT for their “Plaid Pop-Up Shop & Listening Party.”

Co-owners Jeffrey Costello and Robert Tagliapietra built out the joint in a jiffy. Inside, you’ll find plenty of plaid and various vinyl listening stations. They even have a line of shirts inspired by their favorite artists. Of course, nothing in here is affordable, with shirts starting at $125.

The pop-up boutique will remain open until September 29.

350-352 Bowery was previously home to Environment Furniture, which shuttered back in late December. Fashion designer Dexter Chasten launched a store in half of the commercial space last spring.
