Hell Square being the frat party it is, it’s really only fitting that a Netflix show called Friends from College would film here. The shoot is happening today, right in the heart of it, from Allen to Essex between Delancey and East Houston. So, expect clogged streets, for sure.

The husband-and-wife team of Nick Stoller (Neighbors, Forgetting Sarah Marshall) and Francesca Delbanco are behind the ensemble comedy. The plot centers on a group of aged Harvard alumni, now in their 40s, who experience “varying degrees of success in their personal and professional lives.” It stars Keegan-Michael Key, Cobie Smulders, and Fred Savage.
