Shuttered and papered for three months straight, 120 Rivington Street will soon be reborn.
The Schapiro’s bar-restaurant – named for the iconic winery of same that once occupied the city block – closed for good in August. It was a three-year run.
Now a group of seemingly unseasoned applicants – Daniel Dabrowski, Rebecca Kush, Michael Maher, and Jake Fontanilla – hopes to impart a 4am hangout that serves German food with a “Filipino flair.” In a word: fusion.
