Feltman’s Coney Island Hot Dogs Now Being Served at Mikey’s on Ludlow

Mikey’s Burgers is now slinging Coney Island wieners.

Yup, after coming off a hot dog high from the success of last year’s Parkside Lounge pop up, Feltman’s of Coney Island established “Feltman’s Kitchen” next to Theatre 80 at St. Marks Place. And they continue to stretch their frankfurter across the Lower East Side – all the way to Ludlow Street.

This duly eponymous relationship was decided upon a few weeks ago, and with it, Mikey’s is the first Manhattan eatery to serve the outsourced Coney Island dog full time. According to Mikey’s owner Justin Ahearn, “Mikey’s has the best burgers on the Lower East Side, now we sell the best hot dogs in NYC!” This self-proclaimed paramount menu item is dubbed “Mikey’s Shine Dog” and includes pickles, jalapeños and tomatoes, for $5.45.

Mikey’s replaced Sabrett hot dogs which had cost them $3 per pound, with the premium dog at $7 per pound, wholesale. So you do the math.
