‘The Beer Fridge’ will Stock Seward Park Area with Craft Beer

First vaping, now boozing. In due course, the Seward Park area will soon welcome a new craft beer shop. Look out, Top Hops (and Malt & Mold).

Something called the Beer Fridge is preparing to launch at 41 Essex Street, former home of the ill-fated Cigar & Vape. The latter bodega closed back in February after a year-long run, and sat vacant until last month. It’s also worth mentioning that this address previously hosted Delancey Wine, which just moved a few doors southward.

The Beer Fridge filed the “grocery store beer” license paperwork with the State Liquor Authority yesterday. However, a tipster with knowledge of the matter indicated that opening is currently targeted for end of July.
