East Broadway Noodle House ‘Lam Zhou’ is Shuttered
The gates are drawn at 144 East Broadway. Popular Chinatown noodle house, Lam Zhou, just closed down its hole-in-the-wall dispensary.
Fanatic customers are scrambling, concerned about the future of an establishment that offered what many considered some of the best dumplings this side of Chinatown. Word on the street is that the lease expired, and that they’re now hunting for a new location. Although, we’ve been unable to confirm.
“I just went two weeks ago and it was very busy, so I’m sure I’m not the only person who is crying over this unexpected closure,” a concerned reader tells us.
Another told us, “Lam Zhou is closed and now life is over.”
