Yesterday’s Hit-and-Run Driver on Chrystie Street was Homeless Man with Stolen Car

A homeless man reportedly boosted a Honda Civic at around noon, and struck a 49-year-old worker with Action Carting. The victim was near his flatbed truck at 215 Chrystie Street, and sustained a serious ankle injury in the accident. Police later collared the driver – roughly 3pm – whose name and age hasn’t been released.
According to DNAinfo, drivers from Action Carting itself have hit numerous pedestrians, and killed five people since 2008.
