First Warm Saturday of Season Sees Brawl Outside Hair of the Dog
The first warm days of the spring season each year are usually catalyst for violence on the Lower East Side. Like clockwork. Saturday night in Hell Square was certainly no exception.
The evening apparently kickstarted with reports of a “large,” bloody brawl that took place outside Hair of the Dog at 168 Orchard Street.
Several suspects were subsequently arrested, according to alerts on the sometimes-reliable Citizen mobile app. Officers on scene reportedly confirmed that one victim sustained “minor injuries.”
The 7th Precinct was not immediately available for comment. More as it becomes available.
