Comptroller Stringer to Host Lower East Side Town Hall Tomorrow

June 2017
Another Lower East Side Town Hall meeting is on the books for tomorrow evening. This go-round will have a financial slant; it’s being hosted by New York City Comptroller, Scott Stringer. It’s an informational affair, where folks are encouraged to voice their opinions and learn what the Comptroller’s office is all about, and how it can impact the neighborhood.
The gathering is in partnership with several political powerhouses, including Congresswoman Nydia Velazquez, State Senator Brian Kavanagh, Assemblymember Yuh-Line Niou, Borough President Gale Brewer, and Council members Margaret Chin and Carlina Rivera.
Speak up on Tuesday, June 5, from 7-9 pm at the Gotham Health Gouverneur (227 Madison Street). Doors open at 6:30pm.
