Doughnut Plant is Headed to Grand Central Station

Fresh off news of an expansion play at the forthcoming Market Line, Doughnut Plant has more plans in the hopper. Specifically, a brand new location at Grand Central Station.

Doughnut Plant announced, via Facebook, that the midtown outpost is situated on the dining concourse, and opens later this month. Also revealed in the teaser post is a special treat for the occasion. Mini constellation cake doughnuts inspired by the ceiling of the storied train terminal – “naturally-colored cerulean blue glaze with tiny gold stars!”

Doughnut Plant Grand Central is the fifth iteration of the dessert shop around the Five Boroughs.

Oh, yeah, and apparently today is National Doughnut Day.
