Fresh off debuting Una Pizza Napoletana on Orchard Street, the two partners from Contra/Wildair are ready for the next venture. A space inside the 150,000 square-foot Market Line at Essex Crossing.

As first reported here in May, Jeremiah Stone and Fabian Von Hause will impart Cubmare in the section of Market Line housed at the Site 2 “Gateway” development.

Full details on the concept are scant, but the liquor license questionnaire (beer and wine) for Community Board 3 – returning after last month’s withdrawal – offers several clues. It’ll boast two tables and six bar stools, and serve seven days a week until 2am.

Menu is short and includes items like poached snapper, cured meats, and pig heads (full menu below).

Target opening date for Cubmare is December 2018, per the application materials.
