‘Sycamore Style’ Slinks Away from Orchard Street After Less than a Year

Like its retail predecessor, Killion, newcomer Sycamore Style did not last the median two years for fashion boutiques in the neighborhood. In fact, it didn’t last a year.

Alleged celebrity favorite Sycamore Style, a decades-old footwear brand that hawks “custom hand-dyed shoes,” opened at Orchard last September. According to the website, their various styles “have been rocked by the world’s elite music, entertainment and pro-athlete celebrities, including Rihanna, Tracy Morgan, LeBron James, Ghostface Killah, Raekwon and Snoop Dogg to name a few.”

Sycamore Style closed its Lower East Side shop last month, yet still maintains a retail presence online.
