Probably Best Not to Drive Your Porsche onto the FDR Bike Path [PHOTOS]
A tipster snapped a shot of this crashed Porsche Cayenne on the FDR, near the Con Edison power plant early Friday morning. The luxury sports car was trapped between the rails on the adjacent bike path, but it was unclear how it became wedged there.
In a maneuver to avoid traffic, the unknown motorist reportedly tried to circumvent the log-jam but jumping onto the pathway. According to the Daily News, the impatient driver was heading northbound on the narrow jogging path when the vehicle got stuck by East River Park near East 16th Street. The man abaondoned the scene and no arrests were made.
