WWE’s ‘Rowdy’ Ronda Rousey on the Lower East Side [VIDEO]
WWE took to the Lower East Side last week to impart a hyper-realistic ad mural on Allen Street.
Street artist BKFoxx last week lent her spray-painting services to the wrestling federation to plug breakout star “Rowdy” Ronda Rousey (Rowdy borrowed from Roddy Piper). Site chosen was one of the art walls on the facade of 134 Allen Street near Rivington, which was “provided by The New Allen” art program.
The new mural was an effort to promote SummerSlam, which went down yesterday at the Barclays Center.
WWE also released a time-lapse video of BKFoxx painting on Allen Street. (Or, as the press release states, “She mixes street style motifs and pop culture tokens to create a wonderful world of living spirits.”)
