The Opossum in the Allen Street Mall

If you were walking along the Allen Street Mall yesterday morning near Stanton Street, you may have seen it. An opossum scurrying around one of the tree beds.

A Boogie reader sent along these images of the opossum.

The little guy wasn’t too camera shy, and didn’t appear to be feeding on anything.

Opossums are nomadic marsupials, and often stay in an area as long as food and water are easily available. They are also nocturnal.
