Three thugs robbed a man at gunpoint last week near the corner of Essex and Stanton Streets.

In the early morning hours of November 20 (Tuesday), the victim had just withdrawn cash from the ATM outside El Nuevo Amanacer (117 Stanton) when the trio approached. One of the assailants reportedly pulled a pistol and said, “give me what you got,” according to the police report. The other two accomplices stood lookout during the robbery.

The attackers made off with $600 cash and wallet before fleeing north on Essex Street toward East Houston. The victim sustained abrasions to both hands and left knee.

Police describe the perps as three males – one white and two black.
