Report: New Year’s Day Stabbing at Delancey Subway Station

Police are after a group of perps wanted in connection with a stabbing inside the Delancey Street-Essex Street subway station on New Year’s Day.

A man was reportedly stabbed in the back at 6am yesterday morning, when approached by a gang of about ten people, according to published reports. The assailants then fled the scene.

The victim is expected to survive his injuries.

A recent study found the Delancey Street subway stop as twentieth out of 25 most dangerous in the underground system when accounting for in-station crimes.
