107 Clinton Street (at Delancey)

A woman was mugged on Clinton Street by two assailants late Friday night, police said.

Sources say the victim had been exiting 107 Clinton Street shortly after 10pm when the two thugs asked for some change. After she declined, they pounced, snatching the wallet from her hand. The force of the mugging was enough to throw the woman to the pavement, causing a small laceration to the chin.

The duo later fled northbound on Clinton Street with loot in hand. Cops are currently monitoring local surveillance footage to find the criminals.
