The Bowery gets another rooftop bar next week, just in time for the spring warmup.

The Ace Hotel unveiled its Sister City sub-label lodge at the end of February. While chef Joe Ogrodnek’s Floret has been holding down the ground floor restaurant scene, not much was known about the rooftop venture.

Until now.

The sky-high hangout at 225 Bowery is called Last Light, serving cocktails, organic wines, local craft beer, and food from Floret. Opening day is currently slated for next Thursday (April 17).

As previously reported, Ace purchased the former Salvation Army shelter in 2014 for $30 million, and spent the intervening years renovating the innards, while also constructing the glassy vertical addition and updated tenement cornice. Sister City itself was announced last year, but officially debuted to the public in February. There are roughly 200 rooms (starting at $199 per night).
