Where a gallery once stood, trendy clothing will soon live. Indeed, it’s more upscaling for the so-called “museum block” of Orchard Street.

Kallmeyer recently signed a lease for Orchard Street, occupied the previous five years by the Muriel Guépin Gallery. The eponymous fashion brand, founded by South African native Daniella Kallmeyer, sells women’s clothing and accessories. It’s been around since 2012, but this is the first brick-and-mortar boutique.

Handwriting on the window glass advertises their imminent arrival. Ownership reveals that the store opens at 83 Orchard this weekend as a summer pop-up with potential to go long term.
