Dudley’s will Reopen at the End of August

Dudley’s is still down while work continues on its expansion next door. But the reopening is close.

The project, which annexed the adjacent space on Broome Street, began one month ago, and was slated to last three weeks. While not yet open, there is a return date. Ownership tells us that the restaurant will resume normal hours in about two weeks. Target is either August 22 or August 23.

This ambitious expansion essentially creates enough legroom for 15 tables and 32 seats, plus one large table in the basement with 14 seats. In so doing, Dudley’s now controls an entire prime corner of the Lower East Side.
