Two masked men robbed a posh boutique on Norfolk Street this past Sunday afternoon in broad daylight, police said.
The gunpoint robbery unfolded as if in a movie storyline.
The two men entered Maryam Nassir Zadeh at 123 Norfolk Street shortly after 1:00pm. The first – dressed in black pants, white shirt, and face obscured by red bandana – immediately drew a silver pistol and demanded cash. He ordered the shopkeeper to stuff the money in a bag, then walked around the counter, pointed the gun to the victim’s head, and grabbed the loot. Total amount stolen was about $300.
The accomplice, wearing all black and a gray bandana, fulfilled his duties as a lookout, and told everyone to get down on the floor.
Both perps exited the eleven-year-old store, then fled northbound on Norfolk Street.
Police are currently investigating.
