‘Uni K Wax’ Salon Chain Heads to Hell Square

Uni K Wax, a waxing salon chain, is hopping aboard the Hell Square gravy train.

The company signed a ten-year lease in the ground level of 199 Orchard Street, previously occupied by Equinox gym as a sales office. The new salon takes 1,000 square-feet of the store once anchored by American Apparel (that footprint is also shared by the trendy Dr. Smood) for an annual price of $135,600, or $136 per square-foot.

That’s quite a few waxing sessions.

Uni K Wax is a national chain with presence in five states; and there are a dozen locations across the Five Boroughs.
