Time to test run those kiddie costumes! The Henry Street Settlement’s second annual children’s Halloween costume parade and party is happening this weekend, and promises plenty of spooktacular fun for all ages.

The parade route starts at Abrons Arts Center (466 Grand Street) and follows the beats of the NYPD marching band through the streets of the LES, ending with a party at Basketball City (299 South Street, Pier 36).

There will be a costume contest, games and prizes, photo-ops with everybody’s fall favorite – hay bales – and of course pumpkins, food, music, and dancing. Also, children’s books will be handed out by Elroy Gay, founder of LES Tha 6 Boro – a literal treat!

It all goes down this Sunday (October 20), 11 a.m. – 3 p.m.
