Pretty Ricky’s Makes itself Known in Hell Square

The bar formerly known as Grunhaus, and earlier, Spitzer’s Corner, is now showing its new identity. Pretty Ricky’s is almost ready to party.

The corner bar at Ludlow and Rivington Streets last week installed new neon signage above the entrance. Its placement caps several months of interior renovations.

The prolific team behind Boulton & Watt and Drexler’s – Darin Rubell, Jaime Felber, and Eric Kruvant – has been circling 101 Rivington the last couple years, beginning with its proposed takeover in 2017.

Grunhaus closed last spring.

Pretty Ricky’s should open within the next couple weeks.

(In an earlier report, we mis-identified the newcomer as Little Ricky’s.)
