Delivery Man Robbed of his Bike at Knifepoint on Orchard Street

A delivery man was robbed of his bike at knifepoint while making a delivery on Orchard Street, police said.

Shortly after 7:00pm this past Saturday, the victim was reportedly locking his bike outside 54 Orchard Street, when he was approached by an Hispanic man wielding a knife. The delivery guy dropped the bike and backed away, according to cops, at which point the assailant mounted and rode southbound. There was also an accomplice standing in the middle of the street.

The victim was not injured. And the perps remain at large.

The incident transpired outside 54 Orchard Street, near the offices of the Lower East Side Partnership.
