Eleven Held at Gunpoint During Thanksgiving Day Robbery at Eldridge Street Bodega
In a Thanksgiving Day heist last week, nearly a dozen customers were forced to the ground during a bodega robbery.
Three thieves entered the Chinese bodega at 67 Eldridge Street, according to published reports, yet weren’t after the till. Eleven victims – most middle-aged or seniors between the ages of 38 and 65 – were ordered to the floor after the suspects drew two guns and a knife. They then demanded cash and jewelry, and made off with at least $5,000 worth of bounty.
No shots were fired, nor was anyone physically injured.
The still-unidentified perps then fled north on Eldridge Street. No arrests have been made.
