HSBC Bank is Headed to the Corner Delancey and Ludlow Streets

Here is the real reason why the Claw Money boutique is no longer at Delancey and Ludlow Streets. Blame the bank.

Teaser signage in the window of 101 Delancey indicates that HSBC is opening a new branch here at the southeast corner. Further homogenizing this stretch of the Lower East Side. Indeed, by last count there are at least three other banks within two blocks of here (Chase, Bank of America, Banco Popular).

As for street artist Claw Money, she’s reportedly on the hunt for a new location nearby.
