The plywood is deposed, revealing the second fast-fry joint for Hell Square.

Indeed, it took eighteen months, and several different murals on its shed, but Bel Fries is pretty much ready to go at 132 Ludlow Street. When we first broke word of its arrival in September 2018, we had been told it was called “Belle Frites.”

No word just yet on official opening, not even a social media presence yet. However, this place seems poised to capitalize on the weekend drunk money.

The addition of Bel Fries in the old El Luchador doubles the number of such dispensaries in Hell Square. It joins 375 Degrees, which opened just down the block three years ago.
