Game on: Sour Mouse Social Club Ready for Delancey Street
A new basement bar and game room is one month from opening on the Lower East Side.
Dubbed Sour Mouse, the basement venue occupies space beneath the former Rainbow retailer at 110 Delancey Street. (The discount store closed in January.) It’s been in the works for nearly a year, and is run by the proprietor of Black Cat LES cafe on nearby Rivington Street.
Sour Mouse, as reported, is to boast roughly forty seats, as well as billiards (9 tables), shuffleboard (2 tables), foosball, and ping pong.
Opening date for the rec room is pegged at April 15.
